Duck Rice

Duck Rice is also another common food that could be found anywhere in Singapore. In fact, it could be found in most of the chicken stall .But for most of the time, the best duck rice could only be found in stalls which only specialize in duck rice... 

The most common version of the duck rice uses the roasted duck meat and the difference between the chicken rice and duck rice is that duck rice uses only plain white rice instead of the rice that cooks with chicken oil and it is drizzled with braised sauce. Other then the common version, there is also another Teochew version which use the braised yam rice with the braised duck meat and it often comes along with some tau pok, eggs and peanuts on the side. In my opinion,Both version of duck rice taste great but i think i would prefer the common version more as it is something that is much familiar to me since it is much common in Singapore.
